Navy
Navies are what allows a Country to project power beyond its own land. Navies are groups of Ships led by a Character, which can fight Battles, Blockade Hostile coasts, disrupt enemy Maritime Presence, and transport Armies where they are needed. They also help with logistics as they can Distribute Food and Gather Food.
Every country has a Naval Range. If a navy moves beyond the naval range they will suffer attrition. Navies also take increasing amounts of attrition each month they are at sea.
If a ship is damaged and located in a port that is owned or belongs to a country that gave Fleet Basing Rights, it will attempt to repair itself, which will draw Sailors and Gold.
Navies can dock at any coastal location by clicking on it, regardless of whether the coastal location has a port or not.
Ship categories[edit | edit source]
There are four ship categories. The combat power of every ship category can be increased separately.
